We are proud to offer legally exported Peruvian Dendrobatids. For three years I have been working extensively with Peruvian conservationist and frogger Manuel Sanchez in planning and managing this project, and Zoocriadero. All proceeds above our operating costs will go directly to amphibian and rainforest conservation projects and programs in Peru, (through our sister company in Peru, Understory Explorer S.A.C.) including the outright purchase and management of some of the most diverse Dendrobatid habitats in the world. Our first shipment landed and cleared Canadian Customs earlier today, and all arrived in perfect shape. The first offering consists of Dendrobates ventrimaculatus “ Iquitos orange/red” (amazonicus to many) Froglets $100 ea A few sexable subadults available for $375/pr. Dendrobates ventrimaculatus “Tahuayo” $85 ea. Dendrobates reticulatus froglets $125 ea. A few Sexable subadults $375/pr. I realize this may come as a surprise to most everyone, and it was not Manuels, nor my intention to keep people in the dark, but at the same time, we didn’t want to get anybody’s hopes up either, or two waste our time answer emails asking when?when? when? The first shipment is available for re-export world wide from Canada, and future orders may be placed through Understory Enterprises for shipment directly from Peru. Again these frogs are legitimately captive bred, and we operate within full compliance with INRENA, and CITES. I also realize this explanation of things may be vague at this point, and I ask again for your patience and understanding, and I promise that within the next couple of weeks a thorough explanation of this project and current and prospective conservation programs will be made available online through www.understoryenterprises.com, and www.understoryexplorer.com . I will do my best to get all of this information online asap, but this is an extremely busy time for me at present as I am currently settling permanently into Iquitos Peru to dedicate all of my time to ensure that this is as successful as possible. Our Canadian operation will remain in capable hands, and will continue to provide the Canadian hobby with quality captive bred amphibians. Many species will be available through us throughout the coming months and years, and new releases will be announced generally a month or so before the estimated ship date.
